Hello,
My partner and I are running a site with RavenNuke 2.10.01 and PhpBB 2.0.22.
We are having issues with users getting the error, Invalid Session. Please resubmit the form. This appears when users try to post, send PMs, or edit their user profiles.
We have surfed and searched and tried all the usual cookie fixes, and REMing, and Un-REMing lines in the various .PHP files, to no avail.
At one point, admins did not get the error, but regular users did. Now, in our efforts to fix it, even admins are unable to post without getting the error.
I would like a ballpark estimate on what you think it will cost to get this straightened out. I will provide contact information via PM. I don't like to post my emails in public forums, harvested too many times..

hello all. I'm having the same problem, but using PHPnuke 8.0.
Only one of my users is having the "invalid session" error message. he's an important member though, so I'd really like him to be able to pm or post a thread in the forums. he can't do anything besides view pages.
I have another issue, and might as well kill two birds with one stone.
sometimes, if someone is posting something via copy/paste, the site decides it doesn't like the text, and will hang up halfway through loading, then send you to the home page. this happens at seemingly random times with random text. We've tried using notepad, breaking the code with the button in the rich text editor, and can't seem to figure it out. it's especially frustrating since I write editorials for the blog I run (different site), and sometimes actionwars.com won't let me copy/paste from there. and I'm pretty sure there's no hidden code there.
and a side note - if anyone knows of any simple way to extend the amount of text you're allowed to post in a single reply/post, that would be cool too.
I can't seem to find anything to fix that in the admin section.
I have basic HTML knowledge, and a friend is tutoring me on PHP, so I'm not looking for someone to hold my hand necessarily so much as to point me in the right direction. if I have to do a little figuring out myself it'll only help me learn.
I will investigate the "invalid session" - if I cannot duplicate it, I won't be able to fix it though.
The only limit to the text is what the database can store. What the forums use is a "text" field which can hold about 65K characters. I doubt you are making posts that long.
