I am so glad I found this site and Nukecops as the main nuke site has no support or even anywhere you ask anything
I have a phpnuke8 website and in 2 minds whether to continue with it as the site has been hacked twice in the past 2 months, via the server and not being an IT specialist or from this industry I do not know if the security vunerabilities are too much for me to handle.
My site is all running fine now and the index and config files all fixed up, but my customers are still getting spammed from this hack and I have finally gotten ridden of the virus that was unpacked from it when reloaded and that file and folder deleted. The site has had a casting system built, where actors apply for roles and many customizations to the user accounts, by the one developer who assisted me to set up this site, but who has recently had a baby. Dare2Audition is a an online actors agency based in Australia and the site is going very well but I am having problems finding competent developers with nuke experience, or even who will work with nuke here in Australia.
I have just moved the site and I am now on dedicated hosting with top management of that server from serversurgeon.com but I have been told that I may need to have all the names in the tables changed from Nuke to something not as hackable.
What i am wanting to know, is Nuke 8 as vunerable as previous versions, and if I have customizations they may be effected if I just update with patches, especially the user accounts & membership module. what can be done, can you assist and what would it cost to have you manage the database, do regular security updates (where possible) and health of the system. Then individual modifications.
so what I am asking is: 1. is nuke safe and if not can it be made safer
2. what would it cost for you to manage update the scripts and look after the health of the database and security of the site
3. do you also do customizations as I have lots of things I want changed in our profiles as they are not apple mac user friendly and many directors use apple mac
4. can modules developed for nuke be modified to work with Joomla or E107 and can the database info be used in another environment (if I cannot secure my site or for future sites)
If this is not your thing can you direct me, as I am at a loss with this and I have finally started to earn an income after 2 years working full time to get the business to the stage and positive direction it is heading.

After looking further at this site, I have found that you have packages for ongoing support to keep my site running smooth and secure. I would like to do this, can you send me a pm so that I know your username so I can ask you a couple of questions. Happy to pay for your time and purchase the monthly support and assistance. Just wanting to know what is included
I have a nuke8 site and need to keep all my nuke scripts up to date, keeping in mind the customization with the user accounts and membership module and the database healthy. I do have a test site for any new things to ensure it doesnt affect the live site.
I dont want to post the login to my sites database or WHM control panel where others can see, so would rather give this to you in a private message, also if you can tell me how to pay, I have paypal but do I do it via the donate button?
Areas that cannot be updated with a normal update are
user accounts
WS subscription module
calendar?
I will get a more comprehensive list from the previous systems admin/developer

I have left a message for you at nuke cops in the jobs section as i was unsure about paying for your ongoing support services, as wish to purchase the 2nd or 3rd package as I would like you to keep an eye on the security and assist me with further developments, monitoring of the database and possibly a new look or skin for the site
I did just use the Paypal button on the left with no security errors. If anything, Paypal handles all the security.
If you go to https://www.paypal.com and don't see the lock, then don't use it.
I am sure the Paypal button is working, but I will send you my personal email in case you want to input it manually.

Happy to get this going asap. Just need to work out how much you want for the ongoing upkeep of the security and I will pay immediately. I presume you have been away over the weekend and I have left a couple of messages as I have had hackers adding links to sex sites all over the forum as well as someone hacked in and deleted the user of the database and my site was offline all day on saturday until I was alerted.
How do I set up for you to look after my site ongoing.
