I am releasing a package of BBToNuke 2.0.23 (the ported files of phpBB 2.0.23)

You must be running BBToNuke 2.0.22. This is not inclusive of any other upgrades, so please get up to BBToNuke 2.0.22 first.

If you find this useful, send me a thank you PM and ask for my private Paypal to donate directly to me

Download here:

Manual changes from CVS repository:

Click "2.0.22 to 2.0.23" on the left

@Evaders99

Thanks for the update package. I was able to use it to successfully update a fresh install of phpNuke 8.1 which has phpBB v2.0.21 to phpBB v2.0.23 using your update. I also updated a phpNuke 7.9 from phpBB v2.0.22 to 2.0.23 with the update. Both worked with no issues.

Quesiton. If I used your update package as an example, could I learn to make my own updates for future versions of phpBB, say like v3.0?
I know php and database programming with MySql. Not an expert but intermediate level at least. Any suggestions?

Thanks again for the update!

phpBB3 is a whole new can of worms. I am working on an integration.

You could probably make your own updates for phpBB3 ... say whenever phpBB 3.0.1 comes out. Generally follow the changed files, use a file difference program (WinMerge is what I use, its free), and look for any different file locations and so forth.

Hello, thank you for the update. I have one problem, that I hope you can help with. I have 8.1 Nuke Extreme

I successfully upgraded to BBtoNuke 2.0.23

However, I went to delete a forum category, and it did not register. I did not have a link back to forum admin. ( Just blank space in that area - but did have normal forum admin menu on left)

When I used my left menu to get back to forum admin the category was still there.

It will allow me however to add a new category normally.

My Nuke had Sentential already installed as part of the program.

Any thoughts? Please help, I will gladly donate for your hard work.

Thanks
Shari

I managed to create and delete a category just fine.
Sorry I don't use Nuke Extreme, my guess is they have an error somewhere.
