Pimp My Forums Question

Hi Evaders,

I had a theme I liked uploaded for my site but it did not come with a matching forum so the phpBB forum was loaded. Yeah I know I can change the colors, but I don't like ordinary things, I like unique one of a kind things, kinda out there as I have been told. I wanted to know if you could take a peek for any ideas you could do in order to make the forum correspond with the theme. I need some images loaded correctly also, not really experienced there yet.

I also have another theme I am looking at to purchase. I am waiting on a reply from the owner with regards to some modifications I need done first before purchasing it.

If I am able to get the modifications done and purchase the new theme I need to know if the original theme can be kept in the themes section for members, basically if members will be able to use it instead of the new theme I am wanting to purchase with matching forums, I am pretty sure they will be able to as I think they will be interchangeable. I want to delete the others themes that came with the site.

And of course an approximate price quote to have you pimp my site.

Basically themes may or may not have an associated forum template. If so, there is forums folder within the theme directory.

If not, the forum will use whatever is selected in the Forums Configuration.

You can delete the themes you do not use. Users can select the theme they want.. depending on how they are structured, you can have a number of options

theme #1 + associated forum template
theme #2 + associated forum template

OR

theme #1
theme #2 (both forum templates are chosen from the forums configuration)

OR

theme #1 + associated forum template
theme #2 with forum template chosen from forums configuration

etc...

If there is a forum template you want to try to convert to work with phpNuke, let me know. Custom code work like this usually starts at $50, may increase depending on the amount of work to be done.

Ok, thanks. This is the theme I am looking at if some mods can be done.

"Dark Play" at http://www.obroz.com (scroll down to the Preview Themes and select it). Still need to check some things.
