Validation Email Problem - 7.6 Patched

I just recently noticed that validation emails for new users are not being sent. I noticed about 10 users in my database who had not validated and when I created a test user no email was sent to me either. I've been trying to figure this out for about a week now and just finished a fresh full re-install of the latest Nuke Patched Core 7.6 and it still doesn't work even from a fresh install so I'm wondering if this is an issue in the patch.

Emails are being sent from Nuke thru my host because New news submissions are being sent to my inbox.

Is there a fix for this or does anyone know what would cause this.

Also, sendmail is enabled at my host, and the mail() function must work because I can get News submissions.

OK, never mind on this problem. I think I had 2 issues. The fresh reinstall corrected the not sending activation emails and the second problem was when I was "registering" to test it out I was using a google mail account and it was throwing the activations in the spam box online, and that's why I wasnt getting them in my email program (yea, I know...).
